Small Brinjal are bulb shaped with red skin. It is small and slightly elongated in size, They have a milder taste than the general variety of onions. They also taste slightly sweet which goes well with a number of Indian dishes. They are found in a number of South Indian dishes such as Sambar and Red Chutney.

Small Brinjal contain fibre and vitamin B which helps with cell formation. In addition, they are also known to have antibacterial properties and reduce the risk of health problems such as high-blood pressure. Small onions help in increasing bone density as well.
